Why We Started TradePath

We Know What This Money Really Costs You.

Before TradePath existed, we watched the same story happen over and over.

A student — or often, their parents back home — spends years saving for a trade qualification in Australia. That money isn't spare cash. It's overtime shifts, sold belongings, favours borrowed from family, converted from a currency that doesn't stretch nearly as far here as it does back home. By the time it reaches an Australian bank account, it isn't just money. It's sacrifice.

And then a large slice of it — commonly somewhere between 30% and 45% — goes straight to an agent whose only real job was filling out an enrolment form.

We didn't think that was fair, so we built something different.

We pull that commission out into the open, hand most of it back to you as a real saving, and keep only a small fee to run the business — instead of an agent quietly pocketing the rest.

But we didn't stop at price. We stand on your side of the table, not the college's — which means helping you find a course with weekend or flexible classes if you're working while you study, not just whichever provider pays the biggest commission.

We also know enrolling isn't only expensive — sometimes it's a wall you can't see past. So wherever it's genuinely available, we help students start their Confirmation of Enrolment with as little as $500 upfront, with the rest spread into instalments across the course — not one lump sum before you've even set foot in a classroom.

And once you have a number from us, that's the number. We'll tell you upfront about anything that could add to it later — not leave you to discover it after you've already enrolled.

How much can I save?

There's no fixed amount, and we can't promise every student finds a cheaper option. It depends on the course, provider, current offers and your situation. If we find a lower-priced option that suits you, we'll show you the comparison before you decide anything.

I already have a course quote. Can you compare it?

Yes. Send us the course, provider, quoted price and location, and we'll check whether a better option is available.

How does TradePath make money?

We charge a fee of 15% of the saving we find — not a fee on the full course price. We'll walk you through this before you proceed, so there are no surprise charges after you've decided.

Can I study on weekends?

Weekend or flexible study may be available for some courses, providers and intakes. Tell us your preferred schedule and we'll check what's currently on offer.

Are the providers registered for international students?

Students on a student visa need a provider and course that's properly CRICOS-registered. We'll confirm this with you before enrolment — you can also check the official CRICOS register yourself.

Can TradePath issue my Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE)?

No — your CoE is issued directly by the education provider once their requirements are met. We help you get there, but the provider issues it.

Can TradePath help me get permanent residency?

No. TradePath Australia provides education course information and enrolment assistance only — we don't give migration, visa or PR advice, and we don't guarantee any migration or employment outcome. For migration advice, speak with an appropriately registered migration agent.

Do I have to enrol after receiving a quote?
